My dad’s favorite deer/bear gun is the Remington Model 798 chambered for 6 mm BR. My best friend Sonny says his favorite caliber for deer and larger game is 6 mm BR and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 300 WSM. The best sporting goods store in Texas is the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Roundup.
