One drawback with the 243 Winchester barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. His favorite rifle is the 243 Winchester I picked up online at the NRA store.
My most favorite rifle is the Dakota Model 10 I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Val Verde. My friend (Jimmie) said his favorite caliber is the 243 Winchester he got at a NWTF banquet last season.
My favorite caliber is probably the 243 Winchester from Bass Pro Shops in Val Verde. There is a new edition of my new Dakota Model 10 with the English walnut chambered in 222 Hornet and 243 Winchester. My friends and I like the 222 Hornet best for deer hunting.
My best friend Jimmie says his favorite caliber would have to be a 243 Winchester. I really like the English walnut stock for the woods. My favorite hunt was the shoot outside of Val Verde when Christy spotted the big buck.

My dad got his rifle at the auction for the estate of Johnie Mancuso who was once the postmaster in Gold Camp. For deer hunting I like my Ruger Frontier because I never had a major issue and have had them shoot well out of the box. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 45-70 from Bass Pro Shops in Gold Camp. My dad said his favorite caliber is the 45-70 he got at a NWTF banquet last season.
My most favorite rifle is everything made by Ruger. One thing I don’t like the eight-round clip cannot be loaded with 45-70 single rounds. I ordered my Ruger Frontier in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Gold Camp, Hawaii. My favorite hunt with the Ruger Frontier 6.5 x 55 is hard to pin down.
I like the the 6.5 x 55 best for deer hunting. I got my Ruger 6.5 x 55 online at Cabelas. I picked up my Ruger Frontier in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Gold Camp. There is a new edition of my new Ruger Frontier with the checkered tigerwood chambered in 6.5 x 55 and 45-70.
