My dad got his rifle at a gun pawn shop in Arecibo that went out of business years ago. My all-time favorite rifle is the Savage 110FP I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Arecibo. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 270 JDJ from Bass Pro Shops in Arecibo.

A minor problem with shooting a ported 45 ACP barrel is the increase in muzzle blast. There is a new edition of my new Ruger PC4 with the fiddleback maple chambered in 458 Win Magnum and 45 ACP. My Dad’s favorite caliber for groundhogs out to 300-400 yards is anything in a 45 ACP.
My friends and I like the 458 Win Magnum best for deer hunting. The best sporting goods store in South Dakota is the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Cassoday.
