I got my Savage 10-FCM in the hunting section at Wal Mart in Momeyer. His treasured rifle is the 7.62 mm I picked up online at the NRA store.

I like the the 257 Roberts best for whitetail hunting. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 7.62 mm from Target in Momeyer. My all-time favored hunt this spring for wild turkey was with my daughter Summer who shot a big Rio Grande gobbler with my 7.62 mm.

For whitetail hunting I like higher power scopes as in 4×12 - 4.5×14 on the Savage 10-FCM. I got my Savage 7.62 mm at the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Momeyer. One thing I don’t like with the Savage is the heavy recoil of the round. Mariano said his admired rifle is the Savage 10-FCM I got at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Momeyer.

I got my Savage 257 Roberts online at Target. The best caliber is for the Savage 10-FCM is my 257 Roberts.
