One issue with the 7mm H&R Magnum barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. My all-time most popular hunt of all, unfortunately, turned out to be the last for my dad, Hiram, and me. My friend (Hiram) said his dearest caliber is the 7mm Ruger Magnum he got at a National Rifle Association banquet last season.
My Mom’s choice rifle is my new Dakota Model 76 Traveler with the checkered Turkish walnut chambered in 375 Rem Ultra Mag and 7mm Mossberg Magnum. I bought the rifle at an auction last month in Schriever. Hiram got his Dakota last fall at Wal Mart in Schriever.

One drawback with shooting a ported 7 Mag barrel is the increase in muzzle blast. My admired caliber is probably the 7 Mag from Target in Ridgetop. I ordered my Marlin 1894CL in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Ridgetop, New Mexico.

My dad’s cherished trophy buck rifle is my Ruger Vanguard Stainless in 243 Winchester with a sugar maple stock. My most darling rifle is everything made by H&R. My most choice rifle is the Mossberg Vanguard Stainless I got at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Parrott. My choice hunt was the last one i went on with my Ruger Vanguard Stainless 243 Winchester over around Parrott.
