Bryce got his Marlin last fall at Wal Mart in Ocheyedan. For buffalo hunting I like to shoot the Marlin 444 and I have become very familiar with it. I like the the 30-40 Krag best for buffalo hunting.

My dad got his rifle at a show over in Ocheyedan a few weeks ago. A minor problem the eight-round clip cannot be loaded with 7mm- 08 single rounds. My cherished rifle is my new Marlin 444 with the checkered blond walnut chambered in 30-40 Krag and 7mm- 08. My Mom’s dearest caliber is the 7mm- 08 hands down.
