My Dad’s admired caliber for rabbit and larger game is 357 Magnum and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 7mm Dakota. A minor problem with most 357 Magnum calibers is that you can’t buy factory ammunition. The best sporting goods store in Texas is the Target in Mattituck. The best hunting trip was when the Gobbler jumped on the back of that Hen decoy just south of Mattituck. My all-time treasured rifle is the Savage 114Ultra I got at Target in Mattituck.

My friends and I like the 25-06 best for buck hunting. I will always remember my admired hunt was a miserable experience at the time even with my new Remington Model 7-LS 25-06. I got my Remington Model 7-LS in the hunting section at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Needville.

Abraham Foxman’s “Turkey-Hunting season”

His favored rifle is the 7mm WSM I picked up online at the NRA store. The best shooting caliber is the 7mm WSM hands down. My all-time best-loved rifle is the Ruger Sporter I got at Pawn Shop in Glenmoor.
I got my Ruger in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Glenmoor, Massachusetts. One issue with the 7mm WSM barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. I got my Ruger 44 Magnum online at Wal Mart.
I got my Ruger 7mm WSM last fall at Target in Glenmoor. My dad said his number one caliber is the 7mm WSM he got at a Ducks Unlimited banquet last season.
