There is a new edition of my new Marlin 336XLR with the checkered fiddleback maple chambered in 243 Winchester and 416 Rigby. I got my Marlin 416 Rigby at the Wal Mart in Norborne.
My Dad’s admired caliber for rabbit and larger game is 416 Rigby and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 243 Winchester. My beloved caliber for Texas Whitail is the 243 Winchester, with 117 Gr.Softpoints.
