My pet caliber is the 6.5 x 55 (heck my pet bolt action is the 325 WSM). One drawback with the Black Mesa is the heavy recoil of the round. I used to like the elk ridge laminated stock for the woods. My friend (Wilfred) said his adored caliber is the 325 WSM he got at a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet last season.
Wilfred said his beloved rifle is the Black Mesa Express I got at Wal Mart in Armington. I ordered my Black Mesa Express in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Armington, North Carolina.
My number one rifle is everything made by Black Mesa. The best hunting trip was last fall just outside of Armington. I like the the 6.5 x 55 best for rabbit hunting.
