One issue with shooting a ported 30-06 barrel is the increase in muzzle blast. My most darling rifle is the Dakota Longbow I got at Pawn Shop in Edmonds. I like a gun like the 458 Win Mag or 30-06 that is much more accurate than I am. My dad’s dear general rifle is my Dakota Longbow in 30-06.
